Daniel Sollinger was born and raised in Cumberland, Maryland, USA until moving to Greenville, South Carolina where he studied filmmaking in high school at The Fine Arts Center. With a newfound passion for filmmaking, Sollinger decided to deepen his education by attending the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.[2] Sollinger began his career as a producer in New York city upon graduation in 1993.[3]
Sollinger's career has spanned more than two decades.[4] In his early career, he produced hundreds of commercials, music videos, and short films. As a seasoned producer, Sollinger has specialized in critically acclaimed feature films such as In My Sleep,[5] The Alphabet Killer,[6] Day Zero, Love Goggles,[7] and Rhyme & Reason (film).[8]
